Walk through Zeesen with the Mayor and Village Head
During a walk through Zeesen led by our Mayor Michaela Wiezorek and Village Head Uwe Friedrich, the residents of Zeesen were able to learn about several achievements. On April 5, 2025, after a good 3 years, the pier at Lake Zeesen was put back into operation. The latest information on the "Herrenhaus Zeesen" project, the conversion of the primary school, and the status of the construction of a new playground in August-Bebel-Straße. The highlight was the opening of the community center at Friedenstr. 54, which ended with a small celebration.

On December 4, 2025, citizens who have rendered outstanding services to the city of Königs Wusterhausen were honored for their commitment to the welfare of our city.
Among others, Helga Zeidler was nominated for the honor by the Zeesen local advisory board, and she received this pin of honor from our city of Königs Wusterhausen.

Inauguration of the small sauna house on February 20, 2026 at the *Tannenzapfen* daycare center
Last year, the Zeesen local advisory board donated a small amount from the district budget for this project. As a result, this great project for the children could be realized. The kids will surely enjoy it and have a healthy future through sauna use.
